Southern platy

Southern platies is wonderful fish for small planted aquariums and they are a excellent option for community aquarium. Southern platies available in various color and types and different fin forms. Platies are peaceful and your can mix them with gold fish also. They will not hurt you goldfish like molly fish. Like other live bearers breeding is very easy, if you have enough floating plants and you are feeding your adult platies properly; you can save your platy fry in same tank itself. They are not so aggressive towards their young ones. Platies live for 2 – 3 years if cared properly. It is better to have more females, likely 2 to 3 females for every male.
