Tami River rainbow fish is a beautiful red color fish like Salmon red rainbow. Lot of discussion is happening regarding the two species and the possible difference in identifying them. But in today’s aquarium trade, it is very difficult to avoid cross breading. Since I have seen several different rainbow tried to crossbreed when mixed together.

Food	Omnivores: All types of food of small size. Live food preferable
Temperament	Peaceful.
Care Level	Easy, Care should be taken while introducing the fish to new environment.
Sexing	Males will be bright red in color and mature males will have a arched back . Females are less colorful.
Egg Layers	Yes.
Breeding	Easy, with school of fish . They spawn on plants or spawning mob. They lay adhesive/sticky eggs and if not separated they will eat their own eggs. It will take approximately 8 – 12 days for hatching.
