Boeseman's rainbow fish is the popular rainbow community fish in aquarium trade and readily available. Boeseman's rainbow fish is a beautiful fish with deep metalic blue front half and orange or red shaded with yellow highlights in the back half.

Breeding	Easy, with school of fish . They spawn on plants or spawning mob. They lay adhesive/sticky eggs and if not separated they will eat their own eggs. It will take approximately 8 – 12 days for hatching.
